Deepening and broadening existing relationships and partnerships across ETP members to promote increased collaboration, thereby building additional energy related RD&D capacity in Scotland.

Current Focus

ETP members are active in a number of collaborative partnerships, within the UK and Internationally.

Leading or participating in the UK's Sustainable Power Generation and Supply (SUPERGEN) Programme.

Supporting the UK Energy Technology Institute with its first three technology programmes (wind, marine, distributed energy)

Bidding to host EPSRC funded energy Doctoratal Training Centres in Scotland

Currently working with the Scottish European Green Energy Centre and Scotland Europa in developing new collaborative research proposals for EU funding

Latest Supergen programme on the Delivery of Sustainable Hydrogen has been approved for funding (£4.7m) and will be managed by St. Andrews University.
