ETP Oil & Gas Diversification Workshop

Opportunities in Offshore Renewables for Scottish SMEs in Oil & gas
Date: Monday 26th January 2015, 2 - 6pm
Venue: Business School, Robert Gordon University, Aberdeen
Admission: Free

The offshore wind market represents a big opportunity for Scottish SMEs who currently operate in oil & gas. With three new wind farms recently consented and an imminent decision expected on the contract for the next wind farm, there has never been a better time to prepare your company to take advantage of this developing market.

This free event, taking place the afternoon before The Scottish Renewables Wind & Supply Chain Conference, will inform you of the specific steps you need to take. Who are the companies that you need to do business with? What does your company need to look like to be part of the supply chain? Which regulatory framework will apply to contracts? When will the forthcoming offshore wind developments be rolled-out?

As well as getting the answers to these questions, you will leave the workshop with a personalised check-list specific to you company. Not to mention having made some key contacts from industry, government agencies and academia.

Pre-event Survey

To ensure that this workshop is tailor-made to the companies attending and to help us learn more about your business we have created a pre-event survey. It will take just a few minutes to complete but will be invaluable in helping us to shape the workshop. We will also donate £5 to a local charity in Aberdeen for every attendee who completes the survey - so not only will you be helping us, and your company, but also helping your local community.

To complete the survey, please follow this link.
