Fit-for-purpose Simulator for Scale Management at Production Wells

This project uses tools from hyperbolic partial differential equations to mix two reactive fluids with different compositions in a porous medium. A proof for the uniqueness of the solution is provided, as is a rigorous mathematical perspective. The porosity of the medium is allowed to change and the resulting model can be used to resemble precipitation of sulphate salts in production wells, a major difficulty known as scaling.
