‘Consumer-facing innovation in the energy market - now and in the future’
Following the success of our Future Consumer Event earlier this summer in
London, our CEO Dermot Nolan and Ofgem’s senior leaders invite you to join
them on 29 September in Glasgow to explore how innovation in the energy
sector is shaping a smarter and more consumer-focused future in Scotland.
The day is also an opportunity for attendees to learn more about Ofgem’s
wider reform programme and our plans for enabling a smarter, more
competitive market – and how we will ensure vulnerable consumers aren't
The event will be a chance for consumer groups, industry leaders, suppliers
and policy experts to explore how technological innovation and increasingly
personalised energy choices stand to transform the relationship between
energy provider and customer.
Speakers from across the sector will come together to assess what the
energy consumer of the future will look like, how they will engage in the
market of tomorrow, and whether technological changes will really lead to
consumers becoming active, empowered agents at the heart of the system.
Join us and be part of a conversation about the big issues facing the energy sector and the future of regulation.
We will confirm the full agenda and further details shortly.
