How to develop sustainable, resilient, and profitable supply chains
About the Event
Join Zero Emission Mobility innovators, researchers, funders, and policy makers from across Scotland (and beyond) at Arnold Clark’s Innovation Centre in Glasgow. This will be a day full of interactive activities designed to stimulate the collaborations, ideas and actions needed to create sustainable, resilient, and profitable supply chains across Scotland’s transport sector.
During the day, you’ll have the opportunity to hear from leaders representing each of critical part of the transport supply chain including battery, power electronics, composites and charge point designer and manufacturers, vehicle OEMs, skills development agencies, and fleet operators.
To embed all of the knowledge that is shared and spark ideas and actions, you’ll be invited to participate in a facilitated workshop where you’ll work in a group to dive deeper into one or more strategic challenges connected to decarbonising Scotland’s transport systems. Full details on these challenges will be shared with you in advance of the event.
A visit to the Arnold Clark Innovation Centre wouldn’t be complete without taking a short time out to experience how it is helping to educate members of the general public and transport professionals about the history of electric vehicles and how they are designed and operate, and how they feel to drive. During the 90-minute lunch break, you’ll be able to take a tour of the centre led by a Product Specialist or use a specially designed track to test drive one of a selection of EVs that Arnold Clark will make available for this event.
