We’re delighted to announce the strategic integration of the Energy Technology Partnership (ETP) and the Scottish Research Partnership in Engineering (SRPe) to form the Scottish Partnership in Energy and Engineering Research & Innovation (SPEERI). SPEERI is being established as a partnership of 14 Scottish Universities working to maximise the impact in both energy and engineering research and innovation.
The Energy Technology Partnership (ETP) and the Scottish Research Partnership in Engineering (SRPe) will come together under combined governance, a coordinated mission and integrated operation of SPEERI, while maintaining their distinctive identities in energy and engineering research and innovation.
SPEERI will use a focused approach to raise the profile of Scottish energy and engineering research. The Scottish Research Partnership in Engineering (SRPe) and the Energy Technology Partnership (ETP) represent two pan-Scottish partnerships in the innovation ecosystem, both recognised for their work by key stakeholders across academia, industry, public sector, and Scottish Government.
